Describe some of the strategies you used to "read" Twelve Blue. Indicate what you did + what you hoped to achieve - and what you got out of doing whatever you did. I am hoping you will dig around in this text long enough to try out more than one strategy.

I have to say that Twelve Blue repented quite a bit of a challenge for me. Up to this point, I've always thought of storytelling as a linear exercise - one always moving forward. This story is anything but linear. I cow;don't really come up with any kind of strategy other than alternating between clicking on the underlined links within any given page and the threads that were on the left-hand side. I couldn't really figure out which was the "right" way to go and neither way seemed to help me understand the story any further. While I found the idea of a piece like this very interesting, I'm very curious to see how my classmates interpreted it. Perhaps they might have found some insights that i myself could not glean at the time.
